Initially launched for Android smartphones, companion mode allows users to link one WhatsApp account to multiple devices. Now, iPhone users can also enjoy this convenient functionality. With companion mode enabled, all linked devices synchronize directly with the cloud. This means that even if the primary iPhone is not connected to the internet, companion devices will still receive text messages, multimedia, voice notes, and more. However, it's important to note that if the primary device loses internet access for an extended period, WhatsApp will automatically log out from the companion devices.
