Nokia Launches Entry-Level Smartphones Nokia C300 and Nokia C110 Running Android 12: Price and Specifications
On Thursday, Nokia unveiled its latest entry-level smartphones, the Nokia C300 and Nokia C110, aimed at providing accessible options to the global market. Developed by HMD Global, Nokia's parent company, both models feature polycarbonate frames and backs. They come preloaded with Android 12 and sport HD+ resolution displays. The Nokia C300 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, while the Nokia C110 runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. Earlier, Nokia also introduced the Nokia C32 and Nokia C22 models in India, priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 7,999, respectively.
Price and Availability of Nokia C300 and Nokia C110
The Nokia C300 is available in a single configuration of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, priced at $139 (approximately Rs. 11,400). It comes in a Blue color option. On the other hand, the Nokia C110 is priced at $99 (around Rs. 8,100) and offers 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is available in a Grey color variant. Both smartphones can be purchased in the US through the Nokia website.
Specifications and Features of Nokia C300 and Nokia C110
The Nokia C300 boasts a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, while the Nokia C110 features a slightly smaller 6.3-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. Both devices come with Android 12 out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, the Nokia C300 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Nokia C110 houses a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The C110 also offers expandable storage of up to 256GB via a microSD card.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Nokia C300 features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It also includes an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Nokia C110 comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor.
The Nokia C300 is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging, while the Nokia C110 packs a 3,000mAh battery with 5W wired charging support. Both phones carry an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, they offer USB Type-C charging ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity.
For enhanced security, the Nokia C300 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both models come with polycarbonate bodies and frames. The Nokia C300 weighs 190.5 grams and measures 166.60mm x 76.70mm x 8.6mm, while the Nokia C110 weighs 172.3 grams and measures 160.78mm x 73.90mm x 8.6mm in size.
